I’ve served, with Reynaldo Yañez, as co-screenwriter for two Honduran-produced TV-serials. It has been a learning experience, I’ve even commented on it on my blog.

Retrato de una ciudad, or Portrait of a City, is a 20-episode commercial miniseries.

Produced and Directed by Peruvian-born Ismael Bevilacqua, the series premiered at 9:00 PM on Sunday February 25, 2007 on Maya TV it ran for 20 weeks until the Grand Finale.  

The story centers on Gustavo Arteaga, a reporter for Diario La Prensa. Recently divorced, he involves more than one dangerous situation always in the pursuit of the truth. Helped by his photographer friend Liliana and Inspector Maldonado, Gustavo is after a crime syndicate led by the mysterious “Colonel.”

La Fortaleza, or The Fortress, is a 20-episode commercial miniseries.

Produced and Directed by Peruvian-born Ismael Bevilacqua, the series premiered on 2003 on Canal 11 (Sotel).

The Fajardo family are rich, but like to keep a low profile in their city and country. Cristobal Fajardo is the patriarch, whose two daughters and one son and their adventures, troubles and misadventures the series focused on. The family is the keeper of an ancient treasure which destiny is closely knitted with the males of the family. They also must face a group of business partner who got together to plot the Fajardo’s destruction so they’d keep the million-dollar-worth corporation.
